The YS-03 Solis underwater strobe is designed for the diver and snorkeller who wants better exposure and more colour on his shots, than can be made with a standard compact camera underwater. The YS-03 Solis flash can be used universally in combination with any brand of underwater camera such as, for example, Sea & Sea, Olympus, Canon, Sealife and Panasonic. Precisely this flash is intended for the underwater photographer who does not have much knowledge of underwater photography and also does not feel the need to fully immerse himself in it.

The YS-03 Solis' automatic digital TTL programme automatically determines the amount of flash light required for the shot based on reflection from the subject and the power of the compact camera's internal flash. This allows the underwater photographer to fully focus on the environment, subject and composition. There is no need to study the technology of the flash. The strength of the Sea & Sea YS-03 Solis lies in its simplicity.

Sea & Sea's Solis strobes are made with ultra-modern electronic components and feature the latest technological developments. This makes the flash units fast, intelligent and reliable. The newly designed housing is strong and robust in design, but remains compact in size and lightweight.

The Sea & Sea YS-03 Solis is available as a separate flash, but also as a set with a camera mounting plate, a flexible, adjustable arm and a fibre-optic optical cable for control.
